We are sad to announce that on May 12, 2023, at the age of 94, Gwendell Gene Hohensee of Lincoln, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew F. Hohensee and Frieda L. Hohensee; his wife Lois Bigsby; his sisters, Wanda Sellenrick and Lillian Schmidt; and his brothers-in-law, Robert Domineck, Ron Sellenrick and Darold Schmidt.
He is survived by: his sister Devonne Domineck; his daughters, Loretta Johnson, Linda Hohensee and Marilyn Harris; and his stepsons, Keith Bigsby and Chris Bigsby. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be directed to Messiah Lutheran Church, Lincoln Lutheran High School, or to an organization of the donor's choice.
