He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Reinhold Amen and Esther Amen; his wife Shirley Hergert; his children, Steven Amen (Claudia) of Omaha, Dan Amen (Julie) of Edina, MN, David Amen (Vicky) of Lincoln, Cathy Miller (Don) of Omaha and Mary Borland (Mike) of Lincoln; his brother Richard Amen (Judie); and his brother-in-law Steve Hergert (Marilyn) of Omaha. He was also cherished by 11 grandchildren and one great-grandson.
