We are sad to announce that on July 31, 2020, at the age of 70, Judy L. Hempel of Lincoln, Nebraska, born in Beatrice, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Samuel Metcalf and Loretta Metcalf (Rice); and her brothers-in-law, Jim and Thomas Hempel. She is survived by : her children, Michelle Petersen (Jeff), Thomas Hempel (Jill) and Broc Hempel (Tatiana Toshimitsu); her grandchildren, Sydney, Kaden, Conner, Bryce Petersen, Ryan, Ben Hempel and Julian Hempel; her siblings, Tracy Metcalf, Chris Minnick, Rennie Austin and Trudy Metcalf; and her sister-in-law JoAnn Bomberger. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorials to P.E.O. Chapter HE or American Alzheimer's Association.
