He is survived by: his wife Irma; his children, Janice Smetter (Ron) of Lincoln and Alvin Vacek of Lincoln; his grandchildren, Angel Eddy (Chad) of Emery, SD., Sean Smetter (Shanda) of Lincoln and Shana Blakeman (David) of Elizabethtown, KY.; and his great grandchildren, Emma Vacek, Delaney Vacek of Lincoln, Hutchinson Vacek and Heston Vacek of Hebron.
Lumir Vacek passed away peacefully in the presence of his family on March 13th, 2018 at South Lake Village Alzheimers Care Unit in Lincoln.
