She was predeceased by: her parents, Reinhardt Papke and Christina Papke; her husband Robert Marhenke; her former husband Guy Kerns; her parents-in-law, Lee and Florence Kerns; her brother Norm Papke; her brothers-in-law, Bob and Kenneth Kerns; her nephew Donald Burke; and her stepson Bill Marhenke.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Kerns (May), Scott Kerns (Johanna), Stu Kerns (Kelli) and Sharilyn Van Wyhe (Mike); her sister Verona Burke; and her sisters-in-law, Ruth Kerns and Arllys Papke. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren including spouses; 18 great-grandchildren.
