It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of JoAnn Petereit of Louisville, Nebraska, born in Omaha, Nebraska, who passed away on April 8, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Clell Gansemer and Dorothy Gansemer (Sedlak); her husband Kenneth Petereit; her son Terry Petereit; her children-in-law, LouAnne Petereit, Pam Petereit and Tom Platt; her grandson Johnny Anson; and her siblings, Phyllis Hespen, Sharon Krejci and Alfred Gansemer.

She is survived by : her children, Kevin Petereit (Bea) of Lincoln, NE, Joel Petereit (Lorraine) of Louisville, NE, Debra Platt of Murdock, NE, Jody Parson (Barry) of Cedar Creek, NE and Lori Gray (Russell) of Louisville, NE; her brother Duane Gansemer (Ruth) of Syracuse, NE; and her sister-in-law Kathy Gansemer of Weeping Water, NE. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
