He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Alozy M. Spotanski and Darlene A. Spotanski (Dembowski) of Loup City; his wife Karen A. Petersen of Loup City; his children, Cassandra Spotanski (Marc Jackson) of Loup City, Wesley Spotanski, Jami Mroczek of Loup City, Heath Spotanski and Torrie Wilkinson of Ashton; his grandchildren, Cooper, Chase Spotanski and DeBurg Jackson; his siblings, Mark (Teresa Spotanski), Melanie (Tim Jonak), Michele (Glen Killion), Mitch (Jodi Spotanski), Maria (Mike Curlo) and Marti Jo (Lance Heikel); his parents-in-law, Jim and Pat Petersen of Loup City; his brother-in-law Kevin (Kimberlyn Petersen) of Grand Island; and his grandparents, John, Martha Spotanski, Frank and Josephine Dembowski. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers and plants, memorials are suggested to the Wounded Warrior Project, St. Jude's Children's Hospital or the Grace Foundation.
