He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto F. Wurl and Bertha Wurl (Streit); his wife Bonnie Matson; and his brother Kenneth Wurl. He is survived by: his sons, Terry (Theresa) of Round Rock, TX and Doug "Boomer" (Karen Nelson) of North Platte; and his grandchildren, Kristen Bridgeman (Peter) of Austin, TX, Erik Wurl (Isabel) of Round Rock, TX, Brock Wurl (Emily) of North Platte, Kylie Bentley (Tim Felty) of Round Rock, TX, Jackie Goode (Mike) of Omaha, NE, Tyrell Wurl of Leander, TX and Derek Wurl (Hannah) of Lincoln, NE.. He is also survived by seventeen great grandchildren.
