He is survived by : his wife Virginia Trail; his stepchildren, Elynnor (Alefgul Shukorzai) of Beijing, Elisabeth (Christian George) of Scottsdale, AZ, Suzanne Trail of San Ramon, CA, Caleb and Joy Trail of McCook; and his siblings, Marylin Newcomb, Chuck Trail (Dian) of McCook, Judi Johnson (Dan) of Lacombe, LA and Jack Trail (Norma) of Paducah, TX.. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
