He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Francis and Glenola Fern Anderson Shaner; his great grandchild Madison Alice Shaner; and his wife Katherine. He is survived by: his children, Steve Shaner (Susan) of McCook, NE and Linda Arnold of Coal Valley, IL; and his grandchildren, Seth (Aubrey), Simon (Julie) and Sariah (Adam).
