He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Sorensen and Ruby Sorensen (Warnaca); and his brothers, Merle and Marvin. He is survived by: his significant other Darlene; his daughter Lisa Horton of Mead, Nebraska; his stepson Steve Lydiatt of Ashland, Nebraska; his grandchildren, Tyler, Morgan Cody, Maison Hill and Shelby Lydiatt; and his brother Mahlon Sorensen (Kathy) of Clarinda. He is also survived by several nephews and one niece.
