It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David J. Cavanaugh of Minden, Nebraska, who passed away on February 18, 2022, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Lawrence "Larry" Cavanaugh and Delores "Dee" Cavanaugh (Exstrom); his siblings, Debra Dorn (Dan) of Minden and Mark Cavanaugh; and his nephew Aaron Cavanaugh.

He is survived by : his wife Donna J. Krecklow of Minden; his daughter Clare Cavanaugh of Lafayette, LA; his stepsons, Aaron Damratowski of Minden, Nathan Damratowski (Erica) of Sacramento, CA, Matthew Damratowski (Sadie) of Kearney and Alex Damratowski (Emily) of Minden; and his brothers, Michael Cavanaugh (Janet) of Minden and Matthew Cavanaugh of Minden. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended relatives and close friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the St. John's / Holy Family Knights of Columbus Council 10335.
