He was predeceased by: his parents, Loyd A. Durfee and Ethel Lena Durfee (Moore); his wife Kathleen; his siblings-in-law, Ethelyn C., Jerry Waitman, Vinnie V., Gordon E. Lewis, Conrad, Lorine Zitterkopf, Leland Buehler, Wallace Buehler, Miriam Durfee and Barb Durfee; and his nephews, Gordon Lewis Jr. and Jerry Jay Waitman.
He is survived by: his pets, Brandi and Bentlie; his sons, Mike Durfee of Torrington and Bob Durfee of Mitchell; his granddaughters, Jill Exley (Jon) of Centennial and Erin Durfee of Scottsbluff; his great grandchildren, Avery, Tanner Exley and Zailey Brown; his brother Jim Durfee of Caldwell, Idaho; and his sister-in-law Josephine Buehler of Gering. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
