It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry William Wurtele Sr. (Nebraska City, Nebraska), who passed away on November 5, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Elmer Wurtele and Marjorie Wurtele (Pinkham); his spouse Gail Shearer; his children, Sheryl Wurtele of Denver, CO, Jerry Wurtele, Jr. (Susan) of Beaver Lake, NE and Jeff Wurtele of Nebraska City, NE.; his stepchildren, David Meyers of Athens, TX and Amy Frahm (Rusty) of Ashland, NE.; his grandchildren, Marlea Wurtele, Morgan Wurtele, Trey Frahm, Claire Meyers, Alexa Edmisten, Mason Wurtele and Cecelia Frahm; and his great grandchild Elliana Pinkham.
