It is with great sadness that we announce the death of LaVera Anna Lyon of Nebraska City, Nebraska, who passed away on August 2, 2022, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Ockie Burns and Lottie Burns (Schmidt); her daughter Ann Lamaak; her sister Laurine; and her brother-in-law Ed Borchers.

She is survived by : her son Ted Lyon (Phyllis) of Nebraska City; her son-in-law Ron Lamaak of Sac City, IA; her grandchildren, Tanya Lyon, Don Bourne, Travis Lyon (Patty), Theresa Foster (Mark), Joni Reiling (Travis) and Cathi Ringgenberg (Ben); and her great grandchildren, McKenna, Evan Bourne, Sophie, Weston, Knox Lyon, MacKinzie, Madelyn Foster, Morgan, Cole Reiling, Derek and Sidney Ringgenberg. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
