He was predeceased by: his parents, George Thalken and LaVon Thalken; his in-laws, George and Joann Milligan; and his nephew Kevin Thalken.
He is survived by: his wife Cynthia; his children, Kaila and Kyle Thalken; his brothers, Rex Thalken, Ross Thalken (Cheri), Brad Thalken (Deb), Marty Thalken (Deb) and Jerry Thalken (Fay); his sister-in-law Linda Eacker (Charley); and his siblings' children, April, Sara, Amber, Allison, Jennifer, Ann-Marie, Tamara, Nicholas, Adam, Andrew, Michael, Tyler, Jerry, Greg and Jimmy.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Harvest Christian Church (1501 S Dewey St, North Platte, NE 69101).
In lieu of flowers a memorial is suggested to the North Platte Animal Shelter, Pawsitive Partners Humane Society, Trap Neuter Return North Platte, and Feeding America.
