He was predeceased by: his parents, Engelbert Hodyc (Bert) and Elizabeth Hodyc (Booth); his wife Barbara Lauterbach; and his brothers, Kenneth and Joe Hodyc.
He is survived by: his children, Darrel Beaumont (Julie) of Hooper, NE, Jim Hodyc, Jason Hodyc (Sheila) of Octavia, Brenda Atherton (Bud) of Pennsylvania, Diane DeAngelo of Florida and Penny Beaumont of Ames, NE; his stepson David Eilers (Kim) of Bellwood; and his sister Jackie Warsop of Marshal. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
