She was predeceased by: her parents, Emery Paul and Violet Alexander (Bartholomew); her son Freddy; her husband Fred; her grandchildren, Kerri and Terry Avery; and her siblings, Leonard, Pauline, Ardella and Viona.
She is survived by: her former husband Roland Richards; her children, Linda Avery of Ogallala, Shirley Schacht of Aurora and Dwight Fricke (Vicky) of Ogallala; and her brother Elmer Alexander (Char) of North Platte. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; a multitude of great and great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established in her memory for later designation.
