He is survived by: his spouses, Carolyn Clark and Sandy Smetter; his sons, Kent Smetter (Sandra), Jeff Smetter and Beaver Crossing; his grandchildren, Joseph Smetter (Tonya), Ogallala, Audrey Siddiqui (Huzaifa), Lincoln, Mindy Slater (Ron), Jennifer Koranda (Matt), Staplehurst and Ash Wounded Arrow (Justine); his sister Bonnie Litty (Stan) of Seward; and his siblings-in-law, Gordon White and Sherri Dean. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
