In the sacred silence of farewell, Joanna is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Joanna's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Ann MacLeod and Kenneth MacLeod. She is survived by: her significant other Alexander Murray; her sister Dr. Anne Cognard; her brother-in-law Dr. Roger Cognard; and her children, Helen Jacobsen (Mark), Kenneth Murray, Joanna Murray and Heather Murray-Harding. She is also survived by grandchildren, 7 grandchildren in law, 9 delightful great-grandchildren, and numerous loving nieces and nephews.
