Richard is survived by: parents, Hugo Richard and LaVerne Haubensak Richard; wife Kathie Caring; sister Ellen; and children, Heidi Kantor (Ken) of Texas, Karen Haubensak of Omaha, James Haubensak (Carrie) of Springfield and Leah Pedersen (Dan) of Illinois.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Divine Shepherd Lutheran Church or the Open Door Mission.
