He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Joe Carter, Leada Carter of Omaha, Jim Carter, Ronda Carter of Aurora, Beth Oneill of Sacramento, Matt Swagler and Jennifer Swagler of Omaha; and his brother Calvin Swagler (Janet) of Killbuck. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.
