He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Grochal and Helen Hetro Grochal. He is survived by: his children, Stanley Grochal, III (Holly), Jesse Grochal (Angela), Jennifer Grochal, Christina Nappa (Frank) and Tanya Ulichney (Dennis); and his siblings, John Grochal (Mary), Barbara Coleman (Thomas) and Ann Barba (Joseph). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. and numerous nieces and nephews.
