She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Bowden and Audry Bowden (Closson); her brothers, Thur Bowden, Gene and Dale Closson (Blaine Garwood); her son-in-law Jerry Turpin; and her stepson-in-law Eric Garwood.
She is survived by: her son Steven; her husband Blaine Garwood; her children, Glea Hamik (Dan) of Omaha, Bob McKenny (Debbie) of O'Neill, Tom McKenny (Carmen) of York, Bonnie Turpin of O'Neill, Steve McKenny (Katie) of Hawarden and Jill McKenny of Yankton; her stepchildren, Dean Garwood of Emmett, Karen O'Connell (Richard) of Seward, Everett Garwood (Bonnie) of Nevada and David Garwood (Marietta) of Red Cloud; her stepdaughter-in-law Sally Garwood of Page; and her sister Glea Gude (Robert) of O'Neill. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
