She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter L. Scovil and Francis Vorce; her siblings, Betty Schultz, Kathy Portanova, Emmet and Walter Jr.; and her former husbands, Lyle L. Loftis and Dean Goedeker.

She is survived by: her husband Vernie Wait; and her children, Michael K Loftis (Diane), Joan Havekost (Dave), Steve Loftis (Connie), Teresa Voss, Dale Goedeker (Sue), Lori L. Beach (Jack), David S. Loftis (Shari), Jerry Goedeker (Donna) and James Wait (Carol). She is also survived by 35 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
