It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty Jane Holmstedt of Plattsmouth, Nebraska, who passed away on December 17, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Leonard Michael Montag and Ethel Ada Montag (Sehlke); and her husband Berkley Holmstedt. She is survived by : her daughters, Becky Welte (Terry) of Plattsmouth, NE, Cindy Miller (Merle) of Topeka, KS, Deb Hart (Gene) of Fremont, NE and Kristine Hallman of Omaha, NE. She is also survived by six grandchildren, and sixteen great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests Memorials to First Lutheran Church in Plattsmouth, NE and Nebraska Humane Society in Omaha, NE.
