She was predeceased by: her parents, Elma Marie Mortensen (Jorgensen) and Henry Mortensen; and her former husband John Cordes. She is survived by: her husband Clarence "Bud" Ference of Effingham, SC; and her sister Arlene Brace of Omaha, NE. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
