He was predeceased by: his grandson Jamisyn Musil. He is survived by: his parents, Leslie Karel and Mary Karel (Olson); his son Logan Karel; his stepchildren, Micheal Neargarder of Ravenna, Joshua Neargarder (Hanna) of Wood River and Elizabeth Ear of Wisconsin; his former wife Misty Tremmeling Morris of Ravenna; his siblings, Carrie Henrichs (Terry) of Lincoln and Paul Karel (Laura) of Ravenna; and his siblings' children, Daylan Karel, Andrew Nickeson, Nathan Nickeson and Teinity Karel. He is also survived by three grandsons, a granddaughter, and numerous cousins.
