He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank F. Sherman and Lena Sherman (Snyder); his wife Deana Henrichs; his son Mark Sherman; his sister Carol Fredrick; his son-in-law Andy Helton; and his siblings-in-law, Marvin Henrichs and Karen Miller.
He is survived by: his siblings-in-law, Janice Henrichs and John D. Henrichs of Colorado; and also, Sandi McNiff (Mike) of Lincoln, Sheri Jorgensen of Hazard, Dee Sherman-Helton of Waco, TX, N. Dean Sherman (Jane) of Rockville and Tammie Vollmer (Craig) of Grand Island. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and several step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Higgins Funeral Home (321 O St, Loup City, NE 68853).
Memorials are suggested to the family for further improvements to the Verdurette Cemetery.
