He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Albert Lloyd Cooper and Elsie Rosiland Yost Cooper; and his siblings, Catherine Rigdon, L. John Cooper and Dorsey Cooper.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Bott; his children, A. Mark Cooper, Larry Cooper (Maggie) and Susan Wisecup (Larry); his grandchildren, Angie Price, Jenn Cooper, Krystin Moody (Dustin), Lauren Jensen and Cole Jensen; and his great grandchildren, Hyden Moody and Ava Moody.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice at Regional West or the Scottsbluff Rural Fire Protection District.
