Kortum and Ella Kortum (Seiling); his wife Dorothy Sara Simons; his daughter Sara Lynn Kortum Jones (Frank); his grandchildren, Kylie Ann and Ian Conner Jones of Fremont, CA; his son Philip Ted Kortum (Rebecca Richards-Kortum); his grandchildren, Alexander of Houston, TX., Maxwell of Houston, TX., Zachary of Houston, TX., Kate of Houston, TX., Elizabeth of Houston, TX. and Maggie Kortum of Houston, TX.; and his great grandchildren, Joshua, Noah, Emma of Scottsbluff, NE, Malaya, Carter, Tanner of Scottsbluff, NE, Hollen, Hobbs of Rapid City, SD, Stephanie Eardley (Duke), Decker and Dean of Mountain View, WY.. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
The family respectfully requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials in Alfred's honor be made in care of the First United Methodist Church of Gering, Panhandle Humane Society, or the donor's choice.
