Amos Harris Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Amos Harris (Scottsbluff, Nebraska), who passed away on September 16, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Amos Harris and Verna Harris (King); his brother Glen Harris; his parents-in-law, Henry and Mollie Kildow; and his daughter Janae.

He is survived by: his grandsons, Jerremy (Rachel), Erik (Alexandra), Andrew (Tara), Kyle (Lisa) and Adam (Carli); his siblings, Elsie Christenson, Charity Harris and David Harris; his wife Violet; his sons, Mark and Paul; and his sister Mary Beth. He is also survived by 5 grandsons and their wives, and 4 great-grandchildren.

The family respectfully requests that, in lieu of flowers, the memorial in his honor, be given to Zion Evangelical Church, where he served most recently and recognized as "Pastor Emeritus".
