He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Lee Garner and Clara Opal Weatherill; his siblings, Nyal, Rosie, Mary Ann, Jesse and Janice; and his grandsons, Timothy Garner, Tige Garner and Robbie Edison.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria; his children, Terry (Tekabe), Dan, Randy (Jolene), Sioux, Nila Walters of Eugene, OR and Kristi Walters (Corey); his grandchildren, Jason Goecke, Renee Van Dyke, Justin Garner, Dawn Coombs, Crystal Crawford and Mike Edison; and his stepgrandson Kathy Hamre. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, two great-great granddaughters, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in Don's honor can be sent to the Panhandle Humane Society of Scottsbluff.
