Donald Loos Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Loos of Scottsbluff, Nebraska, who passed away on February 7, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Emanuel H Loos and Sarah J Loos (Grasmick); his former wife Patricia A. Ryan; his sisters, Geraldine, Harriett and Sharon; his brother-in-law Larry Ryan; his daughter-in-law Sandy Loos; and also Jim Post.
He is survived by: his children, Pam Bauer (Bill) of Scottsbluff and David Loos of Scottsbluff; his wife Carol Stricker; his granddaughter Candice; his sister Norma Welsh of Omaha; his siblings-in-law, Theil Ryan of Torrington and Bruce Ryan of Denver, CO; his daughter Dawn Marie Loos of Scottsbluff; his stepchildren, Mike Stricker (Kimberly) of La Junta, CO, Ted Stricker (Sandy) of Gering and Karen Chlopek (Karl); his grandchildren, Melissa Bauer (Jason) of Scottsbluff, Brooks Bauer (Jennifer) of Greeley, CO and Candace Konley of Lincoln, NE; and his stepgrandchildren, Holly Langford (Bobby), Sarah Stricker, Scott Meier (Leigh), Jason Meier (Holly) and Amber Schleuning (Jake) of Gering. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial gifts be given to Zion Evangelical Church in his name and sent to 1910 East 29th St. Scottsbluff, NE 69361.
