We are sad to announce that on March 11, 2020, at the age of 84, Douglas Chappell (Scottsbluff, Nebraska), born in Lincoln, Nebraska passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Douglas Chappell to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Heaton and Josephine Chappell (Rollings Pierce); his wife Jodene Kuxhaus; his siblings, Ruth Maupin, Jean Keys Poole and Kenneth Pierce; and his siblings-in-law, Shirley Schaffer, Georgia Pierce, Donald Menelle and George Poole.
He is survived by: his daughter Cori Taedter; his grandson Brendan Taedter of Scottsbluff; his sister Mary Jo Menelle of Mt. Prospect, IL; and his brother-in-law Walter Schaffer of Bayard. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established in Doug's name to the Scottsbluff High School Counseling Department, General Scholarship Fund.
