He is survived by: his children, Russell Burkey, DeAnn White (Nolan), Becky Reisig, Kim Burkey (Marlyce Strecker) and Kevin Burkey (Pam Hance); his siblings-in-law, Dale Harsin (Jacquie) and Jeanne Harsin; his daughter-in-law Sandy Burkey; and his close friend Francis Heumesser. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren.
