She was predeceased by: her parents, Macario Villanueva and Dolores Villanueva (Garcia); her husband Frank Salazar; and her siblings, Macario Villanueva Jr., Peter Villanueva, Sulema Tijerina, Estella Sandoval and Esperanza Rodriguez.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sandra Vela and Michelle Salazar; her son-in-law Juan Vela; her grandchildren, Alisa (Alex Baty) of Clermont, FL, Liliana of Clermont, FL, Kristina Vela of Clermont, FL, Ricky of Clermont, FL and Maliyah Pryor-Salazar of Clermont, FL; and her sisters, Mary Esther Aguallo (Domingo) of Torrington, WY, Herminia Aguallo of Denver, CO, Mary Socorro Salazar of Clermont, FL and Consuelo Hinojosa of Kingsville, TX. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
