It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fermine Rivera (Scottsbluff, Nebraska), who passed away on September 30, 2018, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his children, Carol Ann Rabago (Lupe), Michael Rivera of Scottsbluff and Cindy Nash of Oceanside, CA; his sisters, Josie Porras, Vicky Rivera, Lucy Gallardo (Manuel) and Simona Prado (Henry); his friend Mary Jo Brown; his children, Fermine Rivera, Jr., Veronica Rivera and Gilbert Rivera; his parents, Norberto Ribera and Petronila Ribera; and his siblings, Bruce, Louis, Jenny, Augustine, Bessie and Rachel. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; thirty-eight great grandchildren; 15 great-great grandchildren.
