She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Santiago Hernandez and Petra Hernandez; her former husband Robert Limon; her husband Moses Escamilla; and her children, Robert Limon, Christina Garcia (Ed), Tony Limon, Ricky Limon, Dora Limon-Billingsley (Rodney), Linda Limon and Adam Limon (Danielle). She was also cherished by 23 grandchildren; 47 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.

She worked at Midwic Co, Dos Bandidos, Sweet Alice Café, Mona's Café, Renee Café, and Yellow Rose Café as kitchen help until she had to retire because of Parkinson's.
