He is survived by: his former wife Winifred Mary Heckert; his children, Jim Lessman (Maie Hatcher) of Fair Oaks, California, Karen Lessman-Hughes (RJ) of Santa Clara, Utah, Nancy Winslow of San Diego, California and Wendy Lessman of Longmont, Colorado; and his grandchildren, Sally, John Winslow, Frances, Russell, Richard and Margaret Lessman.
