James Laessle Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Laessle of Scottsbluff, Nebraska, who passed away on November 10, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Laessle and Elsie Laessle (Hoffman); his former wife Geraldine Kenzy (Geri); his siblings, Audrey Peck (Kenneth), Donna Wardlow-Keating (Ed) and Michael Laessle; his mother-in-law Marion Kenzy; and his siblings-in-law, Donna Treece and Kenneth "Butch" Kenzy.
He is survived by: his children, Dana Laessle (Joe), Jana Bode (Brad), Kim Hurst (Tim), Sheryl Harvey (Steve), Sandy Kirkland (Jack) and Jean Ann Watermeier (Dan); and his wife Jeanne Laessle. He is also survived by his 6 children, 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established to Legacy of the Plains Museum or to Friends of the Midwest Theater.
