Joan Beeney Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Beeney of Scottsbluff, Nebraska, who passed away on October 25, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Harold R. Spencer and Dorothy P. Spencer (Van Dyke); her husband William G. Beeney; her children, Diane Beeney (Mike Dewey) of York, NE and Thomas; her daughter-in-law Michelle Beeney of Mitchell, NE; her son John Beeney (Eric Jacobs) of San Francisco, CA; her grandchildren, Daniel of Fargo, ND, Sarah of Kearney, NE and Rachel of Lincoln, NE; her brother Richard Spencer of Lincoln, NE; and her siblings-in-law, Randall Pfeil of Omaha, NE and Donna Beeney of Shakopee, MN. She was also cherished by nephews and nieces.
The family respectfully requests that memorials in Jo's honor be made in care of the First United Methodist Church, Lied Scottsbluff Public Library, Regional West Medical Center Foundation, and the Nebraska Public Radio Foundation.
