He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Panas and Stella Panas (Kapetana); his wife Helen Papasaferiu; and his siblings, Andy, Ted, Angelina Mehas and Gloria Thomas (Mac).
He is survived by: his sons, Louis (Patricia), Spiro and Tom; his siblings, Nick Panas (Freea), Jim Panas (Fran) of Denver, CO and Sophia Lawrence of Dublin, CA; and his goddaughters, Stefani Murrell (Chikos) and Dora Yost (Kochiras). He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.
