With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Stevens (Scottsbluff, Nebraska), born in Broken Bow, Nebraska, who passed away on June 24, 2019 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Steve Stevens and Maurine Stevens. He is survived by: his wife Diana Post Hruza; his stepdaughter Heidi Hruza; his son Scott Stevens (Harriet); his grandson Alex of Salinas, CA; his son Tracy Jay Stevens (TJ); his grandson Miles Andrews (Tiffany); his great grandchild Harper of Colorado Springs, CO; his daughter Stephanie Stevens of San Diego, CA; his stepdaughters, Zoe and Jennifer Hays (Tim); his stepgrandchildren, Spencer, Abbey and Mackinze of Eaton, CO; his stepdaughter Heidi Ritchie (Drew); his stepgrandchildren, Ethan and Zach of Enid, OK; his brothers, Denny of Broken Bow, NE and Tom of Tucson, AZ; and also Martha of Granite Falls, WA.. He is also survived by numerous cousins and very dear nephews and nieces as well as friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church, Bridgeport, building fund.
