He is survived by: his daughters, Christina Gonzales (James) and Cassandra Benitez; his grandchildren, James Benitez III, Alexus Benitez, Josiah Gonzales, Christian Gonzales, Logan Benitez and Ace Benitez; his siblings, Schuyler Dawn (Shirley), Lavern Whipple (Louise) and Delores Robles (Ignacio); his cousin Rachel McCloskey (Bill); his son Lincoln; his wife Martha Whipple; and his sisters, Belinda and Farris. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews and godchildren.
