He is survived by: his friend Big Dick; his child Chad Rau; his wife Carolann; his daughter Keeli Klein (LaWayne); his grandchildren, Casey Rau, Kody Klein, Korey Klein (Amber), KaSaundra Bethers (Beau) and Hannah Snyder (Dillon); his parents, Victor Rau and Alvina Rau; and his sister Dorothy Schmidt.
The family respectfully requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials in Dick's honor be made in care of the Wounded Warrior Project.
