Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Ruthanne Hooper of Scottsbluff, Nebraska, who passed away at the age of 97, on January 20, 2022. She was predeceased by: her husband Jerry Hooper; her parents, Clarke Steele and Marie Steele; and her brothers, Howard "Bud" Steele, Charles "Bucky" Steele and Jack Steele.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Hooper of Tempe, AZ and Jon Hooper (Roxanne) of Lincoln; her grandson Harry Hooper of Lincoln; her brother Joe Steele (Chris) of Lincoln; and her sisters-in-law, Jeanne Steele of Tucson, AZ and Georgie Steele of Cedar Rapids, IA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Scottsbluff Public Schools Foundation or Western Nebraska Community College Foundation.
