He was predeceased by: his parents, Steven Sorok and Doris Sorok; his grandparents, Hubert (Red) and Marie Blackburn; and his uncles, Dean Blackburn, Jerry Blackburn, Don Blackburn, Frank Sorok and Joe Sorok.
He is survived by: his wife Karen M. Drumheller; his son Bob; his great-nephew Will David Nichols; his sister Patricia Broderick; his niece Keeley Broderick; his nephew Joe Broderick (Miranda); his great-nephew Owen; his niece MacKenzie Broderick; and his uncle Vaughn Blackburn (Clara). He is also survived by many cousins and extended family.
A memorial has been established to St. James Lutheran Church.
