He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elaine Bechtold and Phil Bechtold; his wife Janie; his daughters, Lupita of Gering, Nebraska., Elaine of Gering, Nebraska. and Kalie of Gering, Nebraska.; his siblings, Amy Haupert-Kulik (Alex), Cheryl Mallow (Bud) and Jason Haupert (Tonya); and also, Caleb, Madeline of Isaac, A. J., Taylor, Brian and Jeff.

Any memorials may be made to any disabled Veteran organization of the donor's choice in Vic's memory.
