He is survived by: his children, Diana Hugo (Paul) of Spring Lake, MI and Kenneth Long (Teresa); his grandchildren, Noah and Maggie of Pocatello, ID; and his brother Robert Long (Marolyn) of Corona, CA..

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established at the First United Methodist Church in Scottsbluff.
